About the speaker:
Sudha
Nagavarapu is currently based in Bangalore and works on health rights
and urban governance issues with communities in Karnataka. She also
works with Sangtin Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan (SKMS) in Sitapur district,
Uttar Pradesh, supporting them in their current activities and helping
expand their work in health and agriculture. She has co-authored studies
looking at urban health systems, the privatization and
commercialization of health services (with a focus on Karnataka), access
to medicines etc. Nagavarapu last spoke here at the U of MN two years ago.

Association for India's Development, Minnesota chapter. AID
is a voluntary 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. It is
registered as a student group here at the University of Minnesota. AID
supports and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as
education, health, women's empowerment and many more in collaboration
with grass root organizations in India.
Transportation:
The Mechanical Engineering building is just blocks from the Green Line's East Bank Station and the Washington Avenue parking ramp.
